Dr Linda E Watson (MBBS, FRACP)

(currently on extended leave)

Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2006.  She completed her Advanced Training in Endocrinology at both the Royal Adelaide Hospital and at Flinders Medical Centre and also undertook an elective year in Clinical Pharmacology.  She was admitted to Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2013.  Her areas of interest are Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, as well as the management of thyroid disorders.

Her other interests include the treatment of parathyroid disease and osteoporosis.  She is currently consulting at Victor Harbor and Keswick.  In addition to her role as clinician, she will also undertake clinical research in the area of Type 2 diabetes and commence a Masters in Philosophy (Medical Science) in 2014.
