Dr Lucia (Lucy) Gagliardi (MBBS, FRACP, PhD)
Dr Lucy Gagliardi graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2001, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, with Dean’s listing. She undertook basic and advanced Physician training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2008. She completed a PhD, as a NHMRC Research scholar, at the University of Adelaide in 2011, in the fields of endocrine genetics and familial adrenal tumours. She is a staff specialist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Royal Adelaide Hospital. She is the visiting Endocrinologist to the Multidisciplinary Cystic Fibrosis clinic at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In addition to her clinical work, she continues to pursue her research interests and is a clinical lecturer within the Discipline of Medicine, University of Adelaide. She has a “working knowledge” of the Italian language.
