Dr Marni Nenke (BSci, MBBS, PhD, FRACP)
Dr Marni Nenke obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney in 2003 before undertaking a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland, conferred in 2007. Her basic physician training and advanced training in Endocrinology was completed at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. She became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in 2017. During her training she received the AR Clarkson Scholarship (RAH Research Fund) for her PhD studies with the University of Adelaide. Her PhD, investigating the regulation of glucocorticoids in inflammation, was awarded in 2017 with a Dean’s Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence. She has a keen interest in disorders of the hypothalamicpituitary-adrenal axis and continues post-doctoral research with the University of Adelaide.
Marni also consults at Nunkuwarrin Yunti indigenous health service in Adelaide and also has a staff specialist position at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She reports bone density scans with Osteoscan.
