SA Endocrine Research Pty Ltd (SAER)

SA Endocrine Research was established in 1995 by Principal Investigator, Dr Anthony (Tony) Roberts, Consultant Endocrinologist.

SAER has been a leading Australian private research centre based in Adelaide and has conducted more than 200 international clinical trials in diabetes, obesity, impaired glucose tolerance, metabolic syndrome, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and new device technology.

All clinical trials have been conducted under the authority of the Bellberry Human Research Ethics committee, the largest private ethics committee in Australia which is based in Adelaide. Safety is paramount in research and all research conducted at SAER has been performed under stringent conditions, which are constantly audited to ensure participant safety.

Dr Anthony Roberts has over 30 international research publications, was highly respected as a principal investigator and has been actively involved in the research and with the trial participants.

Involvement in a clinical trial has provided volunteers the opportunity to receive treatment options which are not available outside of the clinical trial setting, often years ahead of the PBS.
